The 2nd ROBO-ONE Light had 2 class, one was Light A Class which could be joined the kit over 1.3 kg. The other was Light B Class joined the kit 1.3 kg or under and also custom-built robot, 1 kg or under.
The regulations are as follows;
1) Officially recognized robot regulation
Robots on the market, officially recognized by ROBO-ONE Committee, can attend the competition whether the robot adapt the 17th ROBO-ONE regulation nor not. Remodeling is prohibited. Head parts can be remodeled and also covering robot body with plastic or paper is permitted.
2) Robot weight except for the officially recognized robot is 1 kg or under and the robot has to adapt the 17th ROBO-ONE regulation.
In the 2nd tournament, custom-built robots handicapped by about 300 g compared with officially recognized kits. It was interesting that how builder of custom robot 1 kg or under overcame the weight handicap and which robot kit was able to win the tournament. However, it is necessary for getting championship of robot fight tournament to carry 3 important factors such as good body, good motion and good control.
Light A Class joined 8 robots. They were 5 KHR-3HVs, 2 TINNYWAVEs and FREEDUM Jr, Ⅲ. The Champion was Summit (TINNYWAVE), the 2nd place was Isoko-Guardian (KHR-3HV) and the 3rd place was Karuma (KHR-3HV). TINNYWAVE got the Light Champonship successively.
Light B Class joined 18 robots. The best 4 robots were 3 UK1( 1kg and under 1kg) and Robovie-X. The champion was Ko-Garoo (UK1) , the 2nd place was ME09-G (UK1) and the 3rd place was Camereon-EX (Robovie-X). In the B class, custom-built UK1 robot could overcome the weight handicap 300 g. For the 3rd Place: Karuma vs Searu. The winner was Karuma.
Final Match: Isoko- Gurdian vs Summit. The winner was Summit.
Light B Class
For 3rd Place: Camereon-EX vs Varhight. The winner was Camereon-EX.
Final match: Ko-Garro vs ME09-G
