The 23rd Robot Survival Game at Mokei-juku in Tokyo (Mar 29, 2015)

The 23rd Robot Survival Game took place at Mokei-juku in Tokyo on Mar 29, 2015.   Five robots as BLACK TIGER L46 (IKETOMU), Denryu (Gons) , Sakura-2gou (Yoshisda),  SR1 (SR-COM) and Tiger-kai2 joined the 23rd Survival Game.   All robots were controlled by camera system in all battles.



 

Eighteen Games such as 5 Combat Shooting, 2 Handicap Duel Fight, 4 Duel Fight, 5 Extermination Battle and 2 Battle Royal (Rumble Battle) were carried out in the 23rd.  All games of videos were uploaded to IKETOMU Channel .

Combat shooting is a practice game for training of shoot skill.  Robot moves to the shooting place from the starting point and shoots the target. Robot has to go to the shooting place for easy shooting.  The target was a small can covered with aluminum foil.  Shooting of the center place of the target got bonus points.

The 21st Robot Survival Game at Mokei-juku in Tokyo (June 30, 2014)



The 21st Robot Survival Game took place at Mokei-juku in Tokyo on June 29, 2014.   Six robots as Hiryu (Koizumi), Famitank (Ninagawa), BLACK TIGER L46 (IKETOMU), Sakura-2gou (Yoshisda), Nikoichi (9th) and Denryu (Gons)  joined the 21st Survival Game.   All robots were controlled by camera system in all battles.


 

Seventeen Games such as 6 Combat Shooting, 2 Extermination Battle, 3 Duel Fight, 3 Tochka Battle, 2 Flag Battle and Battle Royal (Rumble Battle) were carried out in the 21st. All games of videos were uploaded IKETOMU Channel and Noborizaka-san also uploaded videos.

The 19th Robot Survival Game took place at Mokei-juku in Tokyo on Mar. 2, 2014.   Seven robots as Denryu (Gons), Fami-Tank (Ninagawa), Stallone-X (Noborizaka), BLACK TIGER L46,  Yabusame (Mota) , CR-Cannon (Yoshida) and TIGER (Nishida) joined the 19th Survival Game.   All robots were controlled by camera system in all battles.

Total 18 Robot Survival Games such as 2 Combat Shooting, 8 Tochka Battle (a new game), 2 Extermination Battle, 1 Fox Hunting, 3 Duel Fight and 2 Battle Royal (Rumble Battle) were carried out in the 19th. Tochka (Pillbox) Battle:
Tochka (Pillbox) Battle, a new battle is planned for the case of small number of  robots joined the survival games.  Attacker robot moves and shoots the target (flag) in enemy territory. Player of defense team in the territory (in Tochka) shoots attack team robots by mini-gun. The winner is the attacker team shot down the flag within 5 minutes or the tochka team kept the flag for 5 minutes.

Tochka (Pillbox) Battle: BLACK TIGER L46.  The winner was tochka team (1 minute and 33 seconds).


Team Tochka (Pillbox) Battle: CR-Cannon, Yabusame, Stallone-X, Fami-Tank. The winner was robot team (22 seconds).

The 18th Robot Survival Game took place at Mokei-juku in Tokyo on Sep. 29, 2013.   Six robots, Arnold Stallone (Noborizaka),  Denryu (Gons), CR-Cannon (Yoshida), Yabusame (Mota) , FAMICOM-TANK (Ninagawa) and 9th-ROBO (9th) joined the 18th Survival Game.   All robots were controlled by camera system in all battles except for Battle Royal (Rumble Battle).

Twenty-two Robot Survival Games such as Combat Shooting, Fox Hunting, Duel Fight, Flag Battle, Extermination Battle, Attacker and Flag, and Battle Royal (Rumble Battle) were carried out in the 18th. Tobby-san uploaded videos of all games in his YouTube channel.  Noborizasa-san also uploaded videos through the camera attached his robot, Arnold Stallone.

The 16th Robot Survival Game took place at Mokei-juku in Tokyo on Mar. 10, 2013.  Mokei-juku, for Figure Making Lesson Room was used for the 16th Robot Survival Game Field as the 10th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th one.

Six robots, Arnold Stallone (Noborizaka),  Denryu (Gons), CR-Cannon (Yoshida), Yabusame (Mota), Combat Creatures (Mota) and XeroTANK (Ninagawa), joined the 16th Survival Game.   All robots were controlled by camera system in all battles except for Battle Royal (Rumble Battle).

All robots fight each other and just one robot survival in 5 minutes was winner. Rumble fight was carried out without using camera system.

Mobile, not only multi-legged robot or biped robot but also mobile with wheel or caterpillar, which equipped with toy gun, hit sensor and camera system, can join to play survival game. The 1st Robot Survival Game took place at Akihabara, Tokyo on July 19, 2010 and the game takes place every 2 months. Tanaka-san also planned several kind of survival game, such as Extermination Battle, Flag Battle and Fortress Battle.

Trials of the Robot Survival Game were held twice on April 10th and June 13th (1) (2), 2010. The 15th Robot Survival Game took place at Mokei-juku in Tokyo on Dec. 16, 2012.  Mokei-juku, for Figure Making Lesson Room was used for the 15th Robot Survival Game Field as the 10th, 12th, 13th and 14th one.

Four robots, Denryu (Gons), CR-Cannon (Yoshida), XeroTANK (Ninagawa) and Hyakkin-no-Manaita (Tokyo University of Science), joined the 15th Survival Game.   All robot were controlled by camera system in all battles except for Battle Royal (Rumble Battle).

Combat Shooting 1: Denryu

Denryu attached  with a new aiming system which moves with camera.  Therefore Denryu could shoot the target from the starting point.  The time was 8 seconds, the 1st place.

Before the 13th Games,  Shooting test of biodegradable luminescence airsoft BBs was carried out by Stallone. The trajectory were beautifull. 

The 12th Robot Survival Game at Mokei-juku, Tokyo (June.24, 2012)

Mokei-juku, for Figure Making Lesson Room was used for the 12th Robot Survival Game Field as the 10th one. The floor seemed to be good for survival game because it was enough large to battle and not flat.

The 11th Robot Survival Game took place at AKIBA CULTRES ZONE, Tokyo on Apr. 29, 2012.   Robot Survival Game was planned by Tanaka-san and Bishii-san. Mobile, not only multi-legged robot or biped robot but also mobile with wheel or caterpillar, which equipped with toy gun, hit sensor and camera system, can join to play survival game.  The 1st Robot Survival Game took place at Akihabara, Tokyo on July 19, 2010 and the game takes place every 2 months. Seven robots joined the 11th Survival Game were Gonbei Mk-Ⅱ(front left), Aigis (front center), Yabusame (front right), CR CANNON (back left), BLACK TIGER L45 (back center left), Stallone (back center right) and Denryu (back right).

Joined 7 robot were divided into two teams. Gons-san Team members were Denryu (Gons), BLACK TIGER L45 (IKETOMU) and CR CANNON (Yoshida).  Noborizaka-san Team were Stallone (Noborizaka), Yabusame (mota), Gonbei Mk-Ⅱ(B-saku) and Aisgis (Tanaka).  One team was consisted with 3 robots, one of three robots was controlled without camera system and laser sighting system, other 2 robots were  controlled by camera system in all battles except for Battle Royal (Rumble Battle).    Battle Royal was carried out without camera system.  The details were also described in Sanzai-san's Blog (in Japanese).

AKIBA CULTRES ZONE, a small exhibition figure room on the underground floor was used as the 11th Robot Survival Game Field.  Robot Survival Games such as Extermination Battle, Flag Battle, Fox Hunting and Battle Royal (Rumble Battle) were carried out.

The 10th Robot Survival Game took place at Mokei-juku in Tokyo on Feb. 26, 2012.

The 9th Robot Survival Game took place at Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center in Akihabara, Tokyo on Nov. 26, 2011 during AK-GARDEN【１】.

Team Battle (by fighting a dual)
Each one robot of the team fights a dual. The winner is the team won more fighting a dual. Just 2 robots fight in the field. Using of full field and fighting time was 5 minutes.

Vanguard Battle:
Igaa Team (Stallone) vs Gons Team（BLACK TIGER L45）. Winner was Igaa Team (Stallone).


Captain Battle:
Igaa Team (Vanga) vs Gons Team (Butank). Winner was Gons Team (Butank).


Fortress Battle 1 (divide into offensive team and defensive team):
One team is just offensive and other team is just defensive. Just defensive team builds fortress and set a flag in it, and offensive team attacks the fortress and shoot down the flag. Attack team does not know enemy fortress structure. Offensive Igaa Team (Vanga, Stallone) vs Defensive Gons Team (Denryu, Butank, BLACK TIGER L45). Winner was Defensive Gons Team.

The 8th Robot Survival Game took place at HOBBY ROBOT COLOSSEO (Sep. 3-4, 2011)

The 8th Robot Survival Game took place at HOBBY ROBOT COLOSSEO, the biggest hobby robot event in Japan which took place at Shizuoka Convention & Arts Center "GRANSHIP" in Shizuoka City on Sep. 3-4, 2011 during the 50th Japan SF Convention.

More than 80 robots joined the COLOSSEO. All competitions in the COLOSSEO were shown on ‘Ustream HOBBY ROBOT COLOSSEO’ by Ishikawa-san and Tobby-san and videos were keeping in the channel.

Gons-san Team members were Denryu(gons), Butank-kai(Osaru), Little Cat(Chiba), Stallone(Noborizaka) and Benkei(Michii & Ookuma).  All robot were controlled by camera system in all battles except for Rumble Battle.

Each team builds fortress and set a flag in each territory. Each team fights to shoot down flag in the enemy territory. One team is just offensive and other team is just defensive. Just defensive team builds fortress and set a flag in it, and offensive team attacks the fortress and shoot down the flag. Attack team does not know enemy fortress structure.

Trial of Long Distance Robot Remote Control
Trial of long distance robot remote control system using the Internet and VPN was also carried out by Michii and Ohokuma-san. Controller drove the robot, Benkei from Kagawa Prefecture, the Shikoku district in Japan. Video of Fortress Battle B mixed with two display images in the long distance control trial was as follows;



Rumble Battle (without camera system)
All robots fight each other and just one robot survival is winner. Rumble fight was carried out without using camera system. The winner was Butank, custom-built by Osaru-kun.

Just 2 robots fight in the field. Using of full field and fighting time was 5 minutes.

The 7th Robot Survival Game took place at DAI-NIHON GIKEN Office in Mitaka City on June 26, 2011. The 7th Games were shown on `USTREAM robo de savage` from 13:00 to 17:00 (JST) by Ishikawa-san and TOBBY-san. The 7th Games videos are also keeping in the Channel.

Six robots joined the 7th Robot Survival Game were divided into two teams. Igaa team robots were `Gunga`, biped robot with gun in the center of body by Igaa-san, `BLACK TIGER L45`, 5-legged robot custom-built by IKETOMU and `Σ(Sigma)` , 6-legged robot custom-built by Shimaken-san.

Gons team robots were `Denryu’ with 8 wheels mobile custom-built by gons-san, `Yabusame`, 4-legged robot custom-built by mota-san and `Butank`, 6-legged robot custom-built by Osaru-kun.

Main regulations of the Robot Survival Game are as follows;
1) Mobile bodies are not only multi-legged robot or biped robot but also mobile with wheel or caterpillar.
2) Weapons are toy-gun under 0.1 J and/or the other shooting system.
3) Equipped stopping mechanism of the body by gun-hit sensor using a solar battery covered with tinfoil (6 x 6 x 6 cm cubed or 5 x 6 x 7 cm).
4) Robot control has to be done with the image on PC from the camera attached on the robot.
5) Participants have to handle toy-gun carefully and put protector on eyes.

The 7th Robot Survival Game was carried out just using camera system in all games for the first time.  Robot control was done behind the field curtain with the image on PC from the camera attached on the robot.

Gunga, custom-built by Igaa-san was also the first robot joined the Robot Survival Game as biped robot.

A new real building image in the field was designed and drawn on a scale 1:100 by Tanaka-san. The printed buildings were tough and not holed by gun shooting.

The 1st Game, Extermination Battle (Destroy the enemy completely):
Each team fights to destroy the enemy completely within 3 minutes; Winner team is having larger number of survival robot after 3 minutes.
Result: All Igga team robots were destroyed by gons team in 1'58".

Result: All Igga team robots were destroyed by gons team in 2'12".

The 6th Robot Survival Game took place at Dainihongiken Office on April 17, 2011.

Before the 6th Robot Survival Game, it was tried to control Robot Japan Team's Robot in the field of RoboGames 2011 Mech Warfare far from Japan. Demonstraion of Robot Survaival Game between `Anold Stallone` and `Vanga` was carried out. Nobarizaka-san could controled his robot, `Arnold Stallone` far from the site of 6th Robor Survival Game, Dainihongiken Office in Japan, but there were about 10 seconds lag time. Details of controling the robot from Japan were described in Osaru-kun's Blog (in Japanese with picuture) and Sanzai-san's Blog (in Japanese). Video of the demonstraion was as follows;

Each team builds fortress in each territory closed by drawn curtain. Each team fights to shoot down flag in the enemy territory. The winner is the team shot down the enemy flag within 5 minutes or the team which has larger number of survival robot after 5 minutes in the case of each flag does not shoot down within 5 minutes. Result: Each team could not shoot down enemy flag within 5 minutes. Igaa team's survival robot were two (BLACK TIGER L45 and Butank) and Gonz team one (Gunroller-kai). Igga team won the game.



The 3rd Game, Fortress Battle (divied into offensive team and defensive team):
One team is just offensive and other team is just deffensive. Just deffensive team builds fortress and offessive team attacks the fortress.  Attack team does not know enemy fortress structure by the starting time. Result: Deffensive team, Gonez team shot down themselves flug in 2'50", lost the game.



The 4th Game, Fortress Battle (divied into offensive team and defensive team):
Changed offensive team (Gonz team) and defensive team (Igaa team). Result: All Igga team robots were destroied in 2'47", Gonz team won the game.



The 5th Game, Rumble Battle.
Five robot joined except for BLACK TIGER L45 which was retired by laser aming system trouble. The winner was Danga by Igga-san.

The 5th Robot Survival Game took place at ASOBITCITY in Akihabara, Tokyo on Feb 20th, 2011.  Four robot such as 4-legged, 5-legged and mobile joined the game.  Four robots were as follows;


BLACK TIGER L45 (5-legged robot) by IKETOMU


Gunroller-kai (mobile with wheel which was based Gunroller) by Tanaka-san

Combat Shooting + Fox Hunting Game
Just 4 robots joined to the 5th Robot Surviavl Game.  Therefore, Combat Shooting + Fox Hunting Game, a new survival game was planed for 4 robots by Tanaka-san.  Tanaka-san also planed field layout for the game.

1. Hunter robot starts the start position and pushes down the flag1.
2. Hunter robot hits the target1 and hits down it.
3. Hunter robot pushes down the flag2.
4. Hunter robot hits the target2.  When Hunter robot hits down the target2, Fox robot starts to run away.
5. Hunter robot runs after Fox robot and hits it.  Hunter robot has to hit down Fox robot within 5 minutes.

Game1:Game1 was Combat Shooting + Fox Hunting. The hunter was Yabusame and the fox was BLACK TIGER L45. The game carried out without camera system. Fox robot, BLACK TIGER L45 could run away.



Game2:Game2 was Combat Shooting + Fox Hunting. The hunter was BLACK TIGER L45 and the fox was Yabusame. The game carried out without camera system. Fox robot, Yabusame could run away.



Game3:Game3 was Combat Shooting + Fox Hunting. The hunter was Osaru-2.5 and the fox was BLACK TIGER L45. The game carried out without camera system. Fox robot, BLACK TIGER L45 could run away.



Game4:Game4 was Combat Shooting + Fox Hunting. The hunter was Gunroller-kai and the fox was BLACK TIGER L45. The game carried out without camera system. Fox robot, BLACK TIGER L45 push down Hunter robot, Gunroller-kai.



Game5:Game5 was Battle Royal. Robot joiend were BLACK TIGER L45, Gunroller-kai, Osaru-2.5 and Yabusame. The game carried out using camera system. The winner was Yabusame.



Game6:Game6 was Combat Shooting + Fox Hunting. The hunter was Yabusame and the fox was Gunroller-kai. The game carried out using camera system. Hunter robot, Yabusame hit down Fox robot, Gunroller-kai.



Game7:Game7 was Combat Shooting + Fox Hunting. The hunter was BLACK TIGER L45 and the fox was Yabusame. The game carried out using camera system. Fox robot, Yabusame could run away.



Game8:Game8 was Battle Royal. Robot joiend were BLACK TIGER L45, Gunroller-kai, Osaru-2.5 and Yabusame. The game carried out using camera system. The winner was Yabusame.
