Robots had to walk 9 m course with 90 cm width within 1 minute. Each robot time record taken 9 m walk, or the distance from start point if robot could not walk within 1 minute, or robot fell down from the course was recorded.
Each robot tried just one time Footrace. The 9 m course seemed to be not flat in some parts and the center of the course was pasted sponsor advertise label. Therefore, it was not easy to walk through 9 m course for most of robots. Most of robots ran out of the course including Frosty, which seemed to be the fastest robot. In the tournament, custom-built robots handicapped by about 500 g compared with officially recognized kits such as KHR-3HV. It was interesting that how builder of custom robot 1 kg or under overcame the weight handicap and which robot kit was able to win the tournament. However, it is necessary for getting championship of robot fight tournament to carry 3 important factors such as good body, good motion and good control.
Thirty-two robots joined the tournament. They were 4 KHR-2HVs, 10 KHR-3HVs, 3 TINNYWAVEs and 4 FREEDUM Jr, Ⅲs, RIC-30, G-ROBOTS GR-001 and 9 custom-built robots 1kg or under.
In the RONO-ONE Light 3rd, custom-built UK1 robot could overcome the weight handicap 500g. Because 2 of 4 robots in semifinal match were custom-built robots and 2 robots in final match were custom-built robots.

M4-1, custom built 4-legged robot using Mercury Leg Set (Oct. 7, 2011)
Craft House reported M4-1, 4-legged robot using Mercury Leg Set, custom built by Magnet-san who was a member Kyushu Robot Training Meeting. Mercury, parallel-link leg kit was put on the market by Craft House on Jan. 28, 2009.
Mercury Leg Set can be divided into two parts. It seems to be easy to use the divided leg part as the leg of 4-legged robot for KONDO KRS-4000 series servo such as KRS-4013HV and KRS-4014HV. The 4-legged structure is similar to that of KMR-P4 which will be put on the market in this month.
